Cut Flower Wholesale was founded in 1986 by Mike Balsink, originally from Holland. Rene Streng joined Cut Flower Wholesale in 1990. Back in Holland, Mike and Rene were involved in exporting flowers. Since both owners are Dutch, they have an extensive knowledge of flowers and always concentrated on sourcing the unusual, hard to find flowers. Cut Flower, known for its wide variety of unique, fresh flowers from all over the world, services event planners, wedding and interior decorators, hotels, grocery stores and the traditional flower shops. Having outgrown its second location in 1993, the company moved to its current warehouse in the prestigious Buckhead area of Atlanta. In 1994, the company added a full line of hardgoods.
